It seems as though everyone in this business has had work done!
We are happy to announce an all new expansion that we just couldn't keep a secret a second longer.
The "facelift" brings many improvements to the facility, including the addition of 3,000 covered seats under a new extended pavilion roof. Those who like to enjoy their favorite artist from the comfort of their beach chair will still be able to do so from the lawn area, which holds up to 2,000 patrons.
To accommodate these larger audiences, two new parking lots have been added. In addition, traffic will be well under control, even for sold-out shows, with the addition of a second road into the venue. Currently there is one entrance off Route 11-B via Meadowbrook Lane. The expansion added a second entrance, known as the "West Entrance", off of Route 11-C in Gilford. With such improvements, the goal is to have traffic flow as smoothly and quickly as possible both at the beginning and at the end of each show.
Other great upgrades to the facility include the addition of another food and beverage area, more restrooms, and technical upgrades to the audio equipment and utilities. The technical upgrades will allow us to have the same incredible acoustics we're known for, even under a larger pavilion roof.
Bonnette, Page & Stone (BPS), who have head up this project, worked throughout the winter and spring for completion in time for Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion at Meadowbrook to open its season in May 2013.
