The Irish Tenors
The Irish Tenors are a trio of vocalists consisting of Anthony Kearns, Finbar Wright, and Karl Scully. Currently, the group has released nine albums with tracks spanning from "Amazing Grace" to "South of the Border (Down Mexico Way)" to more traditional Irish songs such as "My Wild Irish Rose." The tenors also have wildly popular specials and concerts on PBS including The Irish Tenors: Ellis Island, which was named one of Billboard's Top 10 "Best of" for 2001. They are currently the second highest selling touring Irish group – second only to U2.

Finbar Wright, known as "Ireland's Great Romantic Singer," originally studied for the priesthood, heading off to board at Cork's Farranferris College at 11. At age 22 Wright was ordained and became the youngest priest in the world; his ordination required a special dispensation from the Vatican. Ultimately, Wright left the priesthood and devoted himself to music. His six solo recordings have all reached gold status with four going platinum. The greatest influence on his vocal technique and musical confidence has been that of Dr. Veronica Dunne.

Anthony Kearns also studied with Dr. Veronica Dunne after she saw him competing on Ireland's "Late Late Show." Kearns worked his way up, performing everywhere from local "singing pubs" competitions to weddings to opera festivals. Eventually, Kearns started singing at high profile sporting events, and his illustrious halftime performance at the culmination of the 1996 All-Ireland Hurling Championship played a large part in his invitation to join The Irish Tenors.

Karl Scully is the newest member of The Irish Tenors. Scully has sung in countless operatic roles, as well as starring as Count John McCormack in the cinematic film "Nora" starring Ewan McGregor. His long list of accomplishments and awards makes him a valuable addition to the trio.
